I fredags när jag ivrigt väntade på att samhällslektionen skulle ta slut så jag fick åka hem till Sara och börja njuta av helgen, så satt jag och skulle skriva på min konsekvensbeskrivning...det gick absolut inte bra för jag kunde inte koncentrera mig på andra saker än helgen och det faktum att det finns så mycket jag måste ta tag i.
Anyway, så jag skrev lite på boken istället, men vet inte alls om jag kommer att använda det, för det känns som jag tar för stora delar ur mitt eget liv, och det heter ju inte fiction för ingenting.

”Who the fuck cares about Africa anyway?” Tangerine whined as she browsed through the page angrily. The facts about Burundi flashed by my eyes and I had no chance in hell to catch a glimpse at them.

“Well, first of all, Africa is still a continent, not a country,” Fran pointed out matter-of-factly. “And besides, just because a country is poor doesn’t mean it doesn’t deserve some attention, right? If we were doing a study on USA or Japan or something like that, you would’ve not complain so much, am I right?”

“Probably not,” Tangerine replied with a shrug of her shoulders and shut down the window. “But poor or not, this is boring!”

“It’s not supposed to be fun, it’s school,” Mary said out of the blue and looked up over her own screen.

“Well still,” Tangerine muttered and stood up. I watched the drama going on without saying a word.

 

Sen kom jag inte längre, utan då var lektionen slut.
